UPDATE (April 30, 2024)

We anticipate launching our 2024 Community Supported Apiculture shares on May 15th and will be sending out news via our newsletter - (please sign up below)

We hope to offer 200 shares this season, at $100 each - and to do this through partnership and relationship with other beekeepers and gardeners, growers and makers, who have an abundance of honey, wax, plant medicines, seeds or other gifts to share. If you are such a person please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!

Join our Community Supported Apiculture offering:

We are launching a new way of connecting to honey and beeswax lovers; people, plants and pollinator supporters: a seasonal share of what we create through out gardens and apiaries, offering community care as we go.

We are asking you to buy in in July and August 2023!

We have 100 share available, each at $100.

  • We will send you updates through our monthly newsletter on what is happening in our gardens and opportunities to come out and work alongside us.

  • And then in October we will have your share ready to pick up.

What we hope to fill your share with is:

  1. A portion of delicious, raw, urban honey, unfiltered and unpasteurized - medicinal and sweet, a reflection of the season, place and time. The amount will be dependent on how our honey bees do each season - this may be one or a few bottles - and if we have a year where we make no honey, this may be replaced entrirely by other products.

  2. A selection of beeswax candles, made with the beeswax from our own colonies, and supplemented with beeswax from other beekeepers. Some of our favourites include taper pairs, hexagonal and triangular pillars, beeswax skep votives and tea lights.

  3. A seasonal salve from our gardens - made with our own beeswax, plants we have grown and harvested sustainably, and organic oils.

Shares will be available for local pick up, at one of our garden locations in East Vancouver.
